People aghast on Frequent power cuts in Mandi during sehri & iftar time

Mandi, April 20:–Residents of Mandi aghast on frequent power cuts during sehri and iftar time.Residents alleged that they have been deprived of electricity even in the holy month of Ramadhan.We have been facing unscheduled power cuts much to our discomfiture,” the locals told our correspondent adding that Power Development Department (PDD) has failed to provide power supply even during the holy month of Ramadhan in sehri and iftar time.A local resident from Mandi said that unscheduled power cuts especially at the time of sehri and iftar has added to the miseries of people.”Despite being promised high and tall, the local consumers are being pushed to the wall by forcing them to reel under darkness during sehri and iftar time.”People of Mandi appealed DDC Poonch to look into the matter and ensure adequate power supply during sehri and iftar time.
