Top management in Education department badly fails to deliver:Vital posts of CEOs, DePOs, ZEOs and principals laying long vacant, secretaries busy in CEO and ZEO level functions while Directors acting as headmasters.

Fate of education department is always desired to be better by people but it is going from bad to worst. No officer in bigger chair seems performing his assigned duties by CSR but busy in capturing powers of lower officials, suppressing and acting at their place.
secretaries are meant to recruit new officials, accord promotions where due and fill vacancies besides laying down efficient policies and plans and resources allocation for efficient functioning of the department but contrary to it there are dozens of posts laying vacant in each district, bundles of due promotion lists are awaited in each cadre, new recruitment has been a dream now. Instead of delivering their duties assigned under CSR big officials are busy in small affairs meant for CEO, ZEOs and principles while they are totally barred from performing their functions and are asked to just supply data and information.
Transfer of teachers is a job of ZEO while that of masters is of CEOs within district while transfer of teachers and masters in now been operated from secretaries offices while secretary levels functions are defunct.
Society at larg looks in dismay and annoyed as the crucial department is under deterioration.
