Covid-19 positive tally reached 50 in Rajouri district.

Rajouri April 08:--District Administration and Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Rajouri has directed the Block Medical Officers to go for tracing the primary/secondary contacts of already active /positive cases under their jurisdiction.
Pertinent to mention that today nine persons, including three symptomatic, were tested positive today in the district and the tall has reached 50 in the district.
According to directions issued to the Block medical Officers, were directed to involve ASHAs, Lok Mitras & other health employees to track /trace the contacts of 9 positive persons.
Today 4 persons were tested positive in Manjakot health block and one each in Kandi, Kalakot, Nowshera , Sunderbani, and Darhal health blocks.
Official sources said that since the outbreak of Covid pandemic, 194677 RT-PCR/ RAT samples were collected out of which 185102 were tested negative while the report for 6203 is still awaited.
Out of 4004 tested positive, 3898 have recovered, 56 died and still the district has 50 positive cases.
