Rajouri, Feb 25:– Carrying forward it’s efforts to bring government buildings into public use, two more Panchayat Ghar buildings have been vacated from illegal occupants here in Rajouri district.
Officials said that the two buildings that have been vacated include one of Alal panchayat in Thanamandi and another one is of Badal in Khawas.
They said that panchayat ghar Allal in Thanamandi tehsil was illegally occupied for 20 years while panchayat ghar Badal Khawas was under illegal occupation since 2003.
” Executive magistrates of the area assisted by police got both the buildings vacated and brought the same in public use.” Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Rajesh Shavan said.
He added that more such buildings under illegal occupation are being identified and shall be vacated soon.
” We appeal to people who are illegal occupants of government buildings to vacate the same on their own and to co-operate the administration.” Deputy Commissioner added.
