KAS officer, some doctors and engineers are openly campaigning for National Conference candidate in Budhal Old-B: Javed Iqbal

Rajouri November 19 :–A senior KAS officer, some doctors and engineers are openly campaigning for National Conference candidate in Budhal Old-B (Peeri catchment) Territorial Constituency for DDC elections. I have personal respect for them as they are rare assets of our area. I would not like them to face inquires and lose jobs for a small political contest which their relative is in no position to win. It is, therefore, my humble request to them to immediately withdraw from the political activities and report back to their duties by next six hours. I have evidences of them encouraging electoral corruption on the basis of their wealth and positions in the government. They are certainly risking their jobs. If they don’t withdraw from their illegitimate political practices, I will take recourse to all administrative and legal options available by law to ensure that this KAS Officer, these doctors and engineers are punished for violating the code of conduct by campaigning for National Conference candidate. It is also absolutely foolish of them to risk their jobs for a small battle which their relative’s side has already lost four times (since 1996 when this KAS officer, doctors and engineers were students in schools and colleges). Why can’t they understand it is not going to be a miracle fifth time in a new avatar and at a small scale. You have been bestowed with opportunities to serve people as lawyer, doctors, engineers and civil servants. For God’s sake don’t compromise your self respect and stop acting in manner to lower your self esteem in public estimation. You have time till evening to retract and go back to your official duties. Tomorrow morning I will ensure that law catches up with you. ..
