Jammu Kashmir Apni Party holds public meeting at Darmari in Reasi Aijaz Ahmed Khan demands compensation for losses people suffered in recent heavy rains

REASI, Sept 08:–Continuing to hold interaction with the people for the redressal of their issues, Apni Party today organised a meeting of leaders and workers in Dharmari area in the District Reasi to discuss various issues being faced by the people.
In a statement to the press, the meeting was chaired by the Apni Party Vice President and Ex-Minister Aijaz Ahmed Khan in which prominent people from the areas participated.
During the meeting, the people expressed their concern over the continuous unscheduled power cuts which have affected their normal life.
The people, according to Khan, demanded compensation for the losses they suffered due to recent heavy rains. The flash floods and landslides have caused extensive damage for which the administration should take some corrective measures, Khan demanded after holding interaction with the locals.
He said that the people demanded that the drinking water supply and electricity has badly affected their normal life and the concerned departments should streamline their system to regularly supply water and provide uninterrupted electricity.
The Apni Party, Vice President, assured people that he will project their demands before the concerned authorities. Meanwhile, the people expressed their faith in the leadership of Party President Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari and policies of the party.
Besides, the people also demanded opening of KV School at Darmari because poor families have no other reputed educational institution.
