Jammu, Feb 2: Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) on Saturday welcomed several political leaders into the party fold while according new responsibilities to several of its senior functionaries.
According to the party spokesman, party Vice President Choudary Abdul Hameed welcomed former member of Advisory Board Raj Kumar Lalotra along with his wife Isha Bharti into the party fold. The incumbent contested the recently held Corporation election from ward No. 13 Resham Ghar Colony on BJP ticket and secured 1207 votes.
R K Bali State Secretary and Office Incharge were also present on the occasion.
Furthermore, Balbir Singh senior PDP leader has been nominated as Media Incharge of People’s Democratic Party for Jammu Province by the Party President J&KPDP.
It was also informed that Parvesh Bali Senior Leader of PDP has been nominated as President of POJK Refugees J&K PDP Cell.
Party Vice President Choudary Abdul Hameed and State Secretary and Office Incharge R K Bali hoped that the functionaries will work with zeal and zest to further strengthen the party at the grassroots.
