Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri district on Thursday accorded warm send off to Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rajouri Poonch range, Deepak Kumar Slathia, who attained superannuation from service today.
A farewell programme was organised in District Police Lines Rajouri in which SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas, ASPs, SDPOs, SHOs and I/C PPs and hundreds of other ranks of police were present.
On this occasion, farewell was accorded to DIG RP range, Shri DK Slathia who is attained superannuation from service after serving in Jammu and Kashmir police for close to three decades. While addressing Officers and jawans in his farewell speech, the DIG appreciated the District Police Rajouri for handling the police work during his two years tenure because of which the public order and peace was maintained in the district. He emphasised all ranks to work with dedication and honesty in their future assignments and prayed for their success.
On this occasion SSP Rajouri Yougal Manhas also highlighted the achievements of the retiring DIG during his service career and wished him and his family a healthy and happy family life post retirement on behalf of all ranks and file of the district Police Rajouri.
