MENDHER(Poonch) May 14:– In order to eradicate drugs from the society and to rehabilitate youth involved in drugs SSP Poonch Romesh Angral (JKPS) started an drive against the drug peddlers and their associate involved in drug trafficking.
In continuation of this drive SHO PS Gursai Sanjay Gupta under supervision of SDPO Mendher Neeraj Padyar establish a Naka at JWG along with police party. During checking at Naka point 03 boy coming from JWG when passing through Naka point were told to stop but they tried to escape from the spot. Police party chased and caught one person namely mohd Irfan s/o Mohd Rashid R/O Fazlabaad Surankot and other two persons namely Shahzeb s/o Mohd Rashid Waseem s/o Md Iqbal R/o Fazlabad Surankot fled away from spot.
During personal search of Mohd Irfan 100 gram charas(like substance) recovered from his possession. In this context a case FIR no.42 /2020 u/s 8/21/29 NDPS act registered at PS Gursai and Investigation of the Case entrusted to SI MD Shabir.
