Jammu and Kashmir journalists union, Unit Kishtawar today held an interactive meeting with new S.S.P Khistawar , Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta in his office.
The four-member delegation JKJU, was led by District Coordinator Ashiq dev & Azhar Butt who gave a brief introduction about the ongoing progress of Jammu and Kashmir Journalists Union in various athe reas of state.
The members while also gave an introduction about Jammu and Kashmir journalist unit and its welfare programmes for journalist in state.
ASP Kishtawar Nasir Ahmed was also present on the occasion who impressed upon the delegation to look into the fake matter of ‘fake news ‘ and educated people about how to control it with new techniques and skills.
Meanwhile Dr. Harmeet Singh Mehta stressed on having good communication between journalist and administration. Dr. Harmeet also said that , reporters in our state have enough capability to report about developmental progress.

Jammu and Kashmir is core member of, National Union Of Journalist India (NUJ I) which is largest trade union of journalists in India with almost 20 thousand members from all states, member of International Federation of Journalists, Brussels, Belgium , working in 140 countries with almost 6 lack members all over the world
