Advisors took comprehensive review of developmental activities in Rajouri district* Exhorted officers to work with sincerity Various Public delegations meet

Rajouri,August03: advisors to the Governor Vijay Kumar, K.Skandan, Kewal Kumar Sharma and Financial Secretary to Government Health and Medical Education Department Atal Dulloo today convened a meeting with the district and sectoral officers here in the Conference Hall of the PWD Dak Bunglow in order to take the comprehensive review of the developmental activities being carried out in the district Rajouri, and to sort out the issues of various departments

The meeting was attended by Senior Superintendent of police,Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera, Addition Deputy Commissioner Sunderbani,Additional Deputy Commissioner kalakote,Additional Deputy Commissioner koteranka,SDM Thanamandi,General Manager DIC,Chief Executive officer RDA, SE Hydraulic Circle Rajouri,SE PWD(R&B) Circle Rajouri, SE EM&RE,Rajouri and other district and sectoral officers.

The District Development Commissioner Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad made a Power point presentation.
During the meeting the DDC gave a detailed account of various developmental activities being carried out in the district and the achievements in various sectors including Health,PDD,PHE,PWD, Education,agriculture,horticulture etc through power point presentation.

It was informed that the against the revised outlay of 24452.52 lakhs for the year 2018-19 an expenditure of 23900.59 has been observed till date and the proposed allocation for the financial year 2019-20 is 19893.55 lakhs.

Advisor to Governor K.Vijay Kumar specifically reviewed the progress of bunker construction in the district under the execution of RDD and PWD. It was informed that there are a total of 1892 bunkers which includes 1745 individuals and 147 community bunkers are being executed by RDD.
While taking stock of bunkers being executed by the PWD Rajouri and Nowshera division, it was informed that there are total 1249 bunkers both individual and community,out of which 1116 falls in Nowshera subdivision and 133 in Rajouri subdivision

He also took a detailed stock languishing projects which are under the execution of various departments in the district. It was informed that there are 244 languishing projects under the execution of various departments like PWD,Education,PHE,I&FC,PHE Mechanical,PHE ground water,EM&RE, RDD,STD Kalakote,Grid and others. It was also revealed that out of 244 projects,57 stand completed.

Advisor to Governor K.K.Sharma reviewed the status of power scenario in the district. SE PDD informed that 132KV Barn-Siot Kalakote double recharging circuit is in progress and the work of which will be completed shortly. Regarding the augmentation of Grid station at Siot and Bathian, he said that work on the station shall be completed within a very short duration.He directed the PDD authorities complete all the projects within the set time limits so that the general public can be benefitted. Meanwhile he also reviewed Subhagya scheme being implemented in the district.

Regarding PHE sector, SE PHE informed that there are 61 languishing projects being executed by the department. He said that the tendering process has been done and the work on the projects are in different phases of execution.

Advisor to Governor K.Skandan also reviewed the animal husbandry,sheep husbandry,industries and revenue department. He directed the Chief Animal Husbandry officer to submit a micro plan in convergence with the other departments.

Regarding revenue department, he sought a detailed report about digitization of land records, removal of encroachment on land.ADC informed that the work on the process of digitization is in progress while regular encroachment drives have been conducted in the district for retrieval of the state land.

Issues related to water stressed areas, shortage of border ambulances, Rajouri to Thanamandi road repair work,lack sports facilities in Panchayats, shortage of staff in education and health sector were also discussed in detail.

Number of deputations met Advisors and appraised them about the problems confronting the general public of the area.

The officers were advised to remain active in the field and bring more value to the public services so that the idea of good governance can be achieved.Advisor K Vijay Kumar exhorted officers to work with sincerity while delivering the public services.
