DDC Rajouri resolves Land issues related to construction of 6 Receiving Stations 

Rajouri, July,29:District Development Commissioner,Rajouri Mohammad Aijaz Asad today convened a meeting with the Executive Engineers of Project wing PDD and System and operation,in order to iron out the issues which impede construction of receiving stations of different capacities in district Rajouri.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri,Sher Singh,Additional Deputy Commissioner,Kotranka,Ved Parkash,AC Defence, Ramkesh Sharma,Sub divisional Magistrate Thanamandi,Mohd Tanvir , Tehsildar Rajouri,Sheraz Chouhan and Tehsildar kotranka,RK Anand.

District Development Commissioner sought a station wise report from the executive engineers of project wing and system operation wing of PDD.It was informed that receiving stations works had been sanctioned under different centrally sponsored schemes like IPDS/DDUJY/PMDP rural and urban.

It was informed during the meeting that the contract for the construction of 3.15 MVA receiving station at Monargalla, Tattapani and Shahdara sharief have been allotted to Reliance. With regard to the construction of 3.15 MVA receiving station at Monargalla it was informed that the land which has been identified is not suitable for the construction of receiving station.Similarly in case of Tatapani the land has been identified and the samples for soil testing has been sent.

While the land for the construction of 3.15 MVA receiving station Shahdara sharief has not been identified yet.

Moreover, issues related to the construction of receiving station of 3.15 MVA at khandli, Muradpur and pathan mohra were also discussed in details.It was informed that the land identified for the receiving station Pathan Mohra and Muradpur is subjudiced in the court while the work on the receiving station Khandli is to be started soon.

DDC directed the engineers of system and operations,STD and revenue officers to jointly visit the places like Shahdara sharief, Monargalla, Muradpur, Pathanmohra and identify the land whether State or private ,so that the work on the said receiving stations could be started at the earliest and without any delay.
