RAJOURI, SEPT, 29:-Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat and Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone, Tejinder Singh, on Monday reviewed the prevailing situation in Rajouri, with focus on anti-terror operations and measures to protect civilians and maintain peace in the border district.
The senior officers chaired a high-level meeting with Rajouri Police officials and took stock of recent operations, intelligence inputs, the ground situation and the preparedness of forces to respond to emerging threats.
Officers briefed the DGP and IG Jammu on recent developments and arrangements in place across the district, particularly in vulnerable and strategically sensitive areas.
The meeting also examined intelligence gathering, surveillance and information sharing among agencies to help identify potential threats at an early stage and prevent any disruption to civilian life.
DGP Nalin Prabhat stressed continued vigilance and timely exchange of intelligence, calling for a proactive approach to emerging challenges. He directed officers to maintain close field-level coordination and ensure an effective response to any threat.
Operational requirements and arrangements in sensitive areas were also reviewed, with instructions to maintain alertness and strengthen measures wherever required.
The meeting concluded with directions to improve intelligence inputs and operational readiness, with the primary focus on safeguarding residents and ensuring sustained peace and normalcy in Rajouri.
