SRINAGAR AUGUST 23: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was the Chief Guest at “The Clock Tower Cosmos 2026,” the Annual Day celebration of Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School, Srinagar.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described Presentation Convent as an institution whose founding values have continued to inspire society and shape generations of students.
The Chief Minister appreciated the students for their impressive performances, particularly the thought-provoking presentation on gender equity.
Emphasising the importance of empowering the girl child, Omar Abdullah said that true empowerment means nurturing confident and capable young women who can contribute meaningfully to society and lead Jammu & Kashmir and the nation towards a brighter future.
The event showcased the talent, creativity and confidence of the students, with the annual celebration providing a platform to highlight their academic, cultural and social achievements.
