Javed Rana meets MLAs, multiple delegations; assures prompt redressal of issues

SRINAGAR, JULY 29:-Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today met several Members of the Legislative Assembly and delegations representing different sections and stakeholders, who apprised him of constituency-specific developmental issues, concerns and demands.

The MLAs included Satish Kumar Sharma, Arvind Gupta, Sajjad Shafi and Showkat Hussain Ganie, who put forth various constituency-specific demands and sought the Minister’s intervention for their early resolution.

The delegations included land donors of the Jal Shakti Department, casual employees engaged under CAMPA and representatives of various other groups, who apprised the Minister of their concerns and sought his intervention for their redressal.

Javed Rana gave a patient hearing to the visiting MLAs and delegations and assured them that their genuine concerns would be examined on priority. He directed the concerned officers to look into the issues and take necessary action.

The Minister reiterated that the Government remains committed to responsive and people-centric governance, with sustained engagement with elected representatives and stakeholders to address their legitimate concerns effectively.

He assured the delegations that their demands would be appropriately considered and taken up with the concerned authorities for timely redressal.
