DDC Rajouri resolves issues related to ICDS Nutrition procurement in Panchayats More camps for Enrolment of Left out eligible persons under various Pension schemes _4074 forms for pensions received during camps_

Rajouri, July,18:District Development Commissioner,Rajouri,Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting with the officers of the Social welfare department and ICDS Rajouri in order to resolve the issues related to the ICDS Nutrition procurement in Panchayats.

It is pertinent to mention here that the State Administrative Council (SAC) has approved the ‘Decentralized Policy for Procurement of Supplementary Nutrition’ under the Integrated Child Development Service (ICDS) Scheme to bring transparency, accountability and greater involvement of community in the implementation of the nutrition scheme and the policy shall be effective from the procurement year 2019-20.Numerous issues which are impeding in the implementation of the decentralised policy are discussed as resolved on the spot.
It was informed in the meeting that as per the policy a joint account of sarpanch, Anagwandi supervisor and Account assistant have to be opened for all the panchayats in the district.He further informed that till date out of 312 panchayats the joint accounts for 262 Panchayat stands opened.
DDC directed the officers of ICDS to expedite the process and complete at the earliest so that decentralised policy can be implemented for the current financial year.

Related to the Adhaar seeding of the pension cases it was informed that 64 % Adhaar seeding incase of NSAP and 54 percent in cases of ISSS have been completed and the process of Adhaar seeding is in progress and will be completed within weeks time.while taking note of the number of forms received during the camps solely organised for the inclusion of left out eligible pension beneficiaries it was informed that 4074 forms have been received during the camps.He also requested the DDC that there is a need to organise more camps so that the left out beneficiaries can come in the ambit of the pension schemes.

DDC said in order to include all the left out eligible beneficiaries who are in upper reaches,Mobile teachers will be deputed,who will visit the dhoks and get their forms filled.Regarding the organising of more camps,it was decided in the meeting that special camps will have to be organised at block levels where the camps have not been organised yet.The camps will be organised solely for the purpose of enrollment of left out eligible beneficiaries under various pension schemes.
