RAJOURI, JUNE 27:- The Central Government has approved the extension of the inter-cadre deputation of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma (IAS), in the Jammu & Kashmir AGMUT cadre for a further period of one year.
The extension will enable the officer to continue serving in the Union Territory, where he has been actively overseeing development initiatives, implementation of government welfare schemes, and district administration in Rajouri.
Abhishek Sharma has played a key role in monitoring infrastructure projects, strengthening public service delivery, and ensuring effective implementation of various flagship programmes in the district. His tenure has also been marked by regular public outreach and administrative reviews aimed at improving governance.
The one-year extension is expected to ensure continuity in the ongoing developmental and administrative initiatives in Rajouri.
