SSP Baramulla Orders Enquiry Into Alleged Assault on Advocate, Assures Fair Investigation

BARAMULA, JUNE 13:-Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Baramulla has ordered a detailed enquiry into the alleged assault and misconduct involving an advocate and police personnel at Police Station Kunzer.

According to officials, the enquiry has been initiated following allegations regarding the treatment of an advocate during an incident at the police station. Taking cognizance of the matter, the SSP Baramulla directed that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

The police administration has assured that the enquiry will be carried out in a transparent, impartial and fair manner, and that all aspects of the case will be examined objectively.

Officials stated that appropriate action will be taken in accordance with the findings of the enquiry, while reiterating the commitment of Jammu and Kashmir Police to uphold the rule of law, accountability and public trust.
