JAMMU, JUNE 06:-Deputy Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir, Surinder Choudhary, on Saturday flagged off three specialized essential service trucks of the Mechanical & Hospital Engineering Department for deployment in Jammu, Doda and Udhampur districts.

The initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening public service delivery, improving accessibility and enhancing departmental outreach in remote and underserved areas across Jammu Province.

Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring efficient and timely delivery of essential services to people living in far-flung regions. He said the deployment of the specialized vehicles will improve the department’s operational capabilities and help address maintenance and service requirements more effectively.

Officials of the Mechanical & Hospital Engineering Department stated that the vehicles have been equipped to support field operations and ensure better responsiveness in meeting public infrastructure and service-related needs.

The move is expected to boost service efficiency and reinforce the government’s efforts to provide quality public services across the region, particularly in difficult and remote terrains.
