BUNJWAH JUNE 03:-The prevailing situation in the health sector of Bunjwah has become deeply alarming. A majority of employees officially posted at PHC Nali reportedly remain absent from their duties, while the higher authorities appear unaware of their actual whereabouts. This crisis is not new; it has persisted for decades, severely affecting the delivery of healthcare services to the people of the region.
As per the official records, around 12 employees are posted at PHC Nali. However, on the ground, only one doctor, Dr. Anwar-ul-Haq, is reportedly available to cater to the ever-increasing rush of patients. In the absence of paramedical staff and other supporting personnel, the entire burden of patient care falls upon a single doctor, which is neither fair to the medical officer nor acceptable for public healthcare delivery.
A serious question arises: Who is responsible for this administrative failure? If employees are attached elsewhere, under whose orders are they functioning, and why has PHC Nali been left virtually non-functional?
The people of Bunjwah deserve transparency and accountability. Will the BMO and CMO Kishtwar place the facts regarding absentee employees in the public domain, or will this matter also be hushed up at the cost of public trust and healthcare services?
The residents of Bunjwah have a right to know the truth, and the concerned authorities must take immediate corrective measures to restore confidence in the healthcare system.
