DC Rajouri Reviews Implementation of 18 Flagship Schemes, Directs Officers to Achieve Full Beneficiary Coverage

RAJOURI, JUNE 02:- Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, on Tuesday conducted a comprehensive review of the implementation of 18 major Central Government flagship schemes across the district, emphasizing the need for full saturation of eligible beneficiaries and timely delivery of services.

During a Sub-Division-wise review meeting, the Deputy Commissioner assessed the performance of various departments under important schemes including PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana, PM Shram Yogi Maandhan, PM Matsya Sampada Yojana, PM Suraksha Bima Yojana, PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, PM Jan Dhan Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Fasal Bima Yojana, PM Awas Yojana (Urban and Gramin), PM Vishwakarma, Swachh Bharat Mission and other developmental initiatives.

The Deputy Commissioner directed officers to ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen without delay. He stressed the importance of identifying implementation gaps and resolving field-level issues to improve coverage and service delivery.

Highlighting the role of flagship schemes in improving livelihoods and strengthening social security, the DC urged departments to intensify awareness campaigns and encourage greater public participation, particularly under insurance, pension and financial inclusion programmes.
Special focus was laid on the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) scheme, where the Deputy Commissioner instructed concerned departments to organize dedicated registration and awareness camps for unregistered beneficiaries. He also called for subdivision-wise target setting and regular monitoring to achieve better results.

The DC further emphasized coordinated efforts among departments, proactive field engagement and continuous monitoring to ensure effective implementation of all schemes and achievement of intended outcomes.

The meeting was attended by ADDC Malik Zada Sheraz-ul-Haq, ADC Ravi Kumar Sihag, CPO Maqsood Ahmed, ACR Mohd Jahangir Khan, ACD Auqil Nuvaid, ACP Mohd Rafeeq, DSHO Dr. P.P. Sagotra, CAO Rajesh Verma, ALC Pradyot Gupta and AD Fisheries. ADC Sunderbani Ramkesh Sharma, ADC Nowshera Pritam Lal Thapa, ADC Koteranka Dil Mir and SDM Thanamandi Abid Hussain Shah joined the proceedings through virtual mode.
