Rajouri, July,16:District Development Commissioner,Rajouri,Mohammad Aijaz Asad today chaired a meeting with the officers of the Health Department in order to review the progress under schemes like Ayushman Bharat and Revised National Tuberculosis plan being implemented in the district Rajouri.
The meeting was attended by Chief Medical Officer,Dr.Sunil Sharma,Medical Superintendent,GMC & AH ,Dr.Suresh Gupta,Deputy CMO,Dr.Anees A Nabi,District Tuberculosis Officer,Rajouri and Block medical officer,Kalakote,Manjakote and other officials of the health Department.
Taking review of the Aysushman Bharat,Chief Medical Officer Rajouri informed that till date total patients registered in the district is 180,total number of claims approved is 83,number of claims pending is 59,total amount claimed is ₹518300,total claims approved ₹396200 and the claims in process is ₹59400.Taking serious note of the low progress DDC directed the block medical officers to sought out the issues for the low progress.Block medical Officers informed that various issues non Availability of the medicine due to delay in the opening of the janaushadhi and Sahyog pharmacy in the district,lack of modern diagnostic facilities in the district.These are some of the issues due to which the progress is slow.
Regarding establishing of Health and wellness centres ,Chief Medical Officer informed that in order to expand access to Comprehensive Primary Health Care, under Ayushman Bharat – Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs), Sub Health Centres (SHCs) and Primary Health Centres (PHCs) are being strengthened as Health and Wellness Centres (HWCs). The HWCs are to provide preventive, promotive, rehabilitative and curative care for an expanded range of services encompassing reproductive and child health services, communicable diseases, non-communicable diseases, palliative care and elderly care, oral health, ENT care, and basic emergency care. The services in HWCs will be provided through a Mid-level Health Care Provider (MLHP)/Community Health Officer (CHO) placed at a HWC-SHC and Medical Officer at PHC (Rural/Urban).He informed that at present 12 Health and wellness centres are being setup in the district and have proposed 40 more for the approval during the financial year 2019-20.The sub centres where the HWCs are being set up includes , Dhangri,Pitha,Khadrian,Broh,Dali,Bhatera,Soulki and Andh.The PHCs where HWCs are being set up includes Sialsui,Sarano,Moughala,
Tattapani.
While taking review of the RNTCP,it was informed that there are 06 number of TB units in the district,12 number of designated microscopy centres and there are 376 number of notified TB patients in the district.
The officer further informed that universal Drug sensitive tests have been offered to 376 patients in the district.Regarding the Nikshay Poshan Yojna a total of ₹ 962000 has been paid through the DBT mode in favour of notified patients.
