J&K Government Transfers ARTOs, Ashiq Rafiq Malik Posted as ARTO Rajouri , Nawaz Sharif as ARTO Poonch.

JAMMU, MAY 18:-The Jammu and Kashmir Government has ordered a fresh reshuffle in the Transport Department with the transfer and posting of several Assistant Regional Transport Officers (ARTOs) and Incharge ARTOs across the Union Territory. The transfers were made through Government Order No. 36-JK(TR) of 2026 dated May 18, 2026. 

As per the official order issued by the Transport Department, Civil Secretariat, Mr. Ashiq Rafiq Malik, Junior Scale JKAS officer, who was awaiting adjustment, has been posted as ARTO Rajouri with immediate effect. 

The order further stated that Punika Pandita has been posted as ARTO (BOI) Jammu, Mohd Iqbal Daing as ARTO Anantnag, and Nawaz Sharief as ARTO Poonch. Meanwhile, Anis Ahmad Wani has been transferred from Shopian to Ganderbal, while Arif Parvaiz Shah has been shifted as I/C ARTO Shopian. 

The government said the transfers and postings have been made in the interest of administration and shall take effect immediately.
