POONCH, APRIL 23:-In a proud moment for District Poonch, Gurkirat Kour, daughter of Harpreet Singh, has once again been selected to represent in the 69th National School Games in the discipline of Cricket (Under-17 Girls).
The prestigious national-level event is scheduled to be held at Rohtak, Haryana from April 29 to May 3, 2026.
A dedicated trainee of Rahul Dravid Cricket Club Poonch, Gurkirat has consistently showcased exceptional talent, discipline, and commitment towards the sport. Her selection for the national games stands as a testament to her hard work and passion for cricket.
Her success also highlights the efforts of her coaches, Pervaiz Ahmed Malik (NIS Cricket Coach) and Syed Talit Waseem, who have played a crucial role in honing her skills and guiding her sporting journey.
The achievement has brought laurels not only to Rahul Dravid Cricket Club Poonch but also to the Department of Youth Services & Sports Poonch, Sports Council Unit Poonch, and the entire district.
