SRINAGAR, APRIL 22:- Social-political activist and contested candidate from the 25 Idgah Constituency, Mohammad Faheem Reshi, on Tuesday termed April 22, 2025, as a “Black Day” in the nation’s history, paying heartfelt tribute to the victims of the tragic Pahalgam Baisaran terror attack.
In a statement issued here, Reshi expressed deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and extended his solidarity with the bereaved families. He described the attack as a heinous act of terrorism, stating that such incidents are not only targeted at innocent civilians but also strike at the very foundation of peace, unity, and humanity.
Reshi also lauded the bravery and dedication of the nation’s armed forces, particularly acknowledging their efforts during Operation Sunder. He said the sacrifices made by security personnel in safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the country would always be remembered with pride and gratitude.
On the occasion, he paid special tribute to Shaheed Adil Shah, hailing him as a brave son of the soil who laid down his life while saving others. Reshi described his courage and selflessness as a shining example of patriotism and humanity.
Strongly condemning terrorism in all its forms, Reshi reiterated the need for national unity and collective resolve to combat such threats. He urged citizens, especially the youth, to stand united and work towards promoting peace, brotherhood, and resilience.
“We stand with our country. We stand against terrorism. We demand an end to terrorism and bloodshed, and remain committed to protecting the integrity and dignity of our nation,” he said.
The statement concluded with a call for collective commitment to build a stronger, safer, and united India.
