POONCH MARCH 27:-The District Police Poonch is set to organize the opening ceremony of the Police Martyrs Cricket Tournament at Surankote Sports Stadium on March 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
The event will be graced by SSP Poonch Shafqat Bhat as the Chief Guest. The Guest of Honor for the ceremony will be Dr. Rani Mughal, Principal of Government Degree College Surankote.
The tournament is being organized to pay tribute to the sacrifices of police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty. It is also aimed at promoting sportsmanship, unity, and community engagement among the youth.
A special tribute will be paid to Martyr Amjad Pathan, recognizing his supreme sacrifice for the nation.
The District Police Poonch has extended a cordial invitation to the public to attend the ceremony and encourage the participating teams. The event is expected to witness enthusiastic participation and serve as a platform to honor the bravery and dedication of the fallen heroes.
