MLA Budhal Javed Chaudhary Condemns Alleged Attack on Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Seeks Probe into Security Lapse

RAJOURI MARCH 11:-MLA Budhal, Javed Iqbal Chaudhary, has strongly condemned the alleged murderous attack on National Conference President Farooq Abdullah, terming the incident a cowardly and dangerous assault on democratic values.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Javed Iqbal Chaudhary said the attack, reportedly carried out by a person identified as Kamal Singh under a “well-knit conspiracy,” was a blatant attempt to silence the voice of millions who believe in democracy and justice.

The MLA expressed deep concern over what he described as a serious security lapse, noting that when a leader protected by the Special Security Group (SSG) can face such a threat, it raises serious questions about the effectiveness of the overall security system.

Chaudhary urged the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, to take strict cognisance of the matter and order a thorough and impartial investigation into the incident.
He further demanded that the entire conspiracy behind the alleged attack be uncovered and that all those responsible be brought to justice at the earliest.
