J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr Darakshan Andrabi Concludes Two-Day Visit to Rajouri, Inaugurates Conference Hall

RAJOURI MARCH 06:-Dr Darakshan Andrabi, Chairperson of the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, concluded her two-day visit to Rajouri on Thursday during which she inaugurated a newly constructed conference hall near the Jamia Masjid Rajouri and reviewed arrangements for the holy month of Ramzan and the upcoming festival of Eid-ul-Fitr.

During her visit, Andrabi inspected various Waqf properties and interacted with local representatives and officials regarding facilities and management of religious institutions in the district.

She also chaired a review meeting with district officials to assess preparations related to Ramzan and Eid-ul-Fitr, including arrangements for worshippers, cleanliness, and other essential services around major mosques and Waqf properties.

DC Rajouri Abhishek Sharma and Administrator Auqaf Rajouri Abdul Qayoom Mir accompanied the Chairperson during the visit and briefing. Officials informed her about the steps being taken to ensure smooth arrangements for devotees during the ongoing holy month.

The Waqf Board Chairperson appreciated the efforts of the district administration and Auqaf officials and emphasized better coordination to facilitate the public and maintain proper management of Waqf assets in the region.
