ZNS NIST Academy Celebrates Women’s Day 2026 in Jammu

JAMMU MARCH 05:-ZNS NIST Academy, Gandhinagar Jammu, celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 with great enthusiasm and pride on Thursday under the inspiring theme “She Earned, Because She is Supported by Strong Women Who Support Other Women.”
The event was graced by former minister and senior BJP leader Priya Sethi as the chief guest.

The programme began with a warm welcome address, followed by the felicitation of the founders of ZNS NIST Academy, Shabir Malik and Nusrat Malik, for their continued efforts in empowering women through skill-based education and providing professional opportunities.
Chief Guest Priya Sethi was welcomed with a bouquet and appreciation was also expressed for parents who have supported their daughters in becoming independent and self-reliant. The academy also extended greetings to special guests who have consistently encouraged initiatives aimed at women’s empowerment.

One of the highlights of the event was the “Moment of Appreciation” segment, where talented students were honoured along with their strongest supporters, particularly their mothers and family members, in recognition of their dedication and perseverance.

Interactive game sessions were also organised for students and their mothers, adding joy and strengthening bonds during the celebration. A special segment featured students expressing heartfelt gratitude to their parents, creating an emotional and memorable atmosphere.
The academy also honoured special guests and acknowledged the dedicated staff members whose continuous efforts contribute to the institution’s success.

The event was attended by several distinguished guests including Sonali Dogra, Sars Bharti, Aisha Gujjar, Supreet Kour, Sonal Sharma, Meenakshi Bhagat, Nazish Kazmi, Amar Chouhan, and branch directors Shivangi Dogra, Mamta Gole, and Irfan Choudhary. Senior journalist Rushmi Sharma was also present on the occasion.

In her keynote address, Priya Sethi appreciated the efforts of ZNS NIST Academy in promoting women’s empowerment at the grassroots level and encouraged students to continue striving for excellence and independence.
Founder Shabir Malik and Nusrat Malik expressed gratitude to the chief guest, parents, students, and staff for making the celebration successful. They reiterated their commitment to empowering women through professional skill development and leadership opportunities.

The event concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation to the chief guest, followed by a group photograph capturing the spirit of unity, empowerment, and celebration.
