Her passing has left an irreplaceable void in his life and in the hearts of family members, former students, well-wishers, and all those who were fortunate to know her.
Raziya Begum devoted her life to the noble profession of education. Throughout her distinguished career, she played a vital role in shaping young minds and nurturing generations of students.
She firmly believed that education was not limited to textbooks but was about building character, instilling discipline, and cultivating strong moral values. Her classroom was a space of respect, encouragement, and meaningful learning. Even after her retirement, her wisdom and guidance continued to inspire many.In her personal life, she was the embodiment of humility and grace. Soft-spoken and patient, she was widely known for her peaceful temperament. She never raised her voice in anger nor engaged in unnecessary conflict. Kindness reflected in her words, and calmness defined her presence. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and comfort, and her prayers were a constant source of strength for those around her.
Though she did not give birth to him, she was a mother in every true sense of the word. She offered a love that was pure, unconditional, and everlasting. The bond they shared was not defined by blood but by faith, affection, and a deep emotional connection. She raised him with care, protected him with her prayers, and guided him with wisdom and compassion.
As her son, Altaf Hussain describes her as his greatest teacher in life. Through her actions, she imparted lessons of patience, humility, integrity, and empathy. Her character shaped the person he is today. While the pain of her absence is immeasurable, her love, values, and teachings will remain a guiding light forever.
