SRINAGAR FEBRUARY 12:-Wadura: A one-week MSME-sponsored training programme on “Business and Production Management of Biofertilizer Technology for Entrepreneurship Opportunities” was successfully organised from 5th February to 11th February 2026 at the Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura, SKUAST-Kashmir. The programme aimed to equip participants with technical knowledge and managerial skills for establishing sustainable biofertilizer-based enterprises.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Mohammad Ayoub Bhat, Professor and Head, who highlighted the growing importance of biofertilizers in sustainable agriculture and entrepreneurship development.
The participants were enriched with words of wisdom by the Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Wadura, Dr. Shakeel Ahmad Mir, who emphasized innovation, value addition, and start-up culture in agri-based enterprises. He encouraged the trainees to explore self-employment opportunities through eco-friendly technologies.
The programme was coordinated by Dr. Inayat Mustafa Khan, who ensured smooth conduct of technical sessions, practical demonstrations, and interactive discussions throughout the week.
The training concluded with a vote of thanks by the Course Coordinator, Dr. Inayat Mustafa Khan, who expressed gratitude to the resource persons, participants, and the MSME Ministry for their support in making the programme successful.
The programme witnessed active participation from trainees and concluded on a positive note, fostering entrepreneurship and sustainable agricultural practices.
