Students from Rajouri District Depart for Bharat Darshan Under Civic Action Programme

RAJOURI FEBRUARY 11:-To Promote National Integration, cultural awareness and educational exposure a group of 82 students from Rajouri district embarked on an educational tour to Bengaluru and Hyderabad under the Civic Action Programme. The tour aims to provide students with an opportunity to explore the historical and cultural landmarks of India broaden their perspectives and foster values of patriotism, national integration and self-confidence.

The tour is being organized by the Rajouri Police with comprehensive arrangements including boarding, lodging and air travel for all participants. The flag-off ceremony was led by Tejinder Singh IPS, Deputy Inspector General, Rajouri–Poonch Range and was accompanied by Gaurav Sikarwar IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police Rajouri along with other officers and officials of the J&K Police. While flagging off the tour, the DIG RP Range encouraged the students to act as ambassadors of the rich culture and heritage of Jammu and Kashmir while experiencing the diverse cultural fabric of India.
