Felicitation ceremony celebrates discipline, dedication and pride brought to Jammu and Kashmir by young cadets

RAJOURI FEBRUARY 09:-The NCC Wing of Government PG College Rajouri organised a warm welcome and felicitation programme to honour four NCC cadets who represented the institution at the prestigious Republic Day (RD) Parade in New Delhi, bringing laurels to the college and the entire Jammu and Kashmir region.
The cadets—Naveed Ul Hasan Ch, Sarbjeet Singh, Mohammad Imran and Sharukh Khan—were received with flowers and garlands and felicitated with mementos in recognition of their exemplary performance and commitment at the national-level event.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of a large number of NCC cadets, students and faculty members, reflecting the pride and enthusiasm generated by the achievement.
Addressing the gathering, College Principal Prof. Dr. Anwar Hussain Shah congratulated the cadets and lauded their achievement, stressing that extracurricular activities such as NCC play a vital role in shaping disciplined, confident and responsible citizens.
Associate NCC Officer, Major Tanweer Ahmed, while addressing the students, underscored the importance of unity, discipline and perseverance in education and life. He stated that the success of the four cadets was a direct outcome of their hard work, dedication and unwavering commitment to NCC values.
Several faculty members also extended their congratulations, adding to the celebratory atmosphere on the campus. The event received media coverage, further highlighting the achievements of PG College Rajouri and projecting its contribution to youth development at the national level.
