NC Surrendered Before BJP, Did No Work in Last 15 Months: PDP MLA Waheed Para

JAMMU FEBRUARY 05:-PDP MLA Waheed Para on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on the National Conference (NC), alleging that the party has completely “surrendered before the BJP” and failed to deliver on governance over the past 15 months.

Speaking to reporters, Waheed Para said that despite being in a position of responsibility, the NC has remained ineffective and silent on key issues concerning the people of Jammu and Kashmir. “For the last 15 months, the NC has done no work on the ground. Instead of standing up for public rights, it has compromised and surrendered before the BJP,” he alleged.

The PDP legislator further accused the NC leadership of betraying the mandate of the people by not raising pressing issues related to unemployment, development, and public welfare. He said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are disappointed with the NC’s performance and are looking for a credible alternative that can genuinely represent their aspirations.

Waheed Para reiterated that the Peoples Democratic Party would continue to raise people-centric issues both inside and outside the Assembly and would not shy away from questioning what he termed as the “politics of compromise” practiced by the NC.
