DISTRIBUTION OF IT EQUIPMENT AND CLASSROOM SMARTIZATION FOR MADARSSA AT KALAKOTE BY THE ARMY

Udhampur (J&K) : 11 JUL 2019 the Indian Army distributed IT equipment for Smart Classroom at Madrassa, Kalakot. This was done to improve the educational standard of students studying in a Madrassa at Kalakote.
Presently the education imparted to the students in the Madrassas is only through traditional methods of text books. Thus, advanced means for imparting knowledge to the students in Madrassa were identified by the Army and they undertook the project for distribution of IT equipment for smart classroom. The Army will provide quality education to the students with educational CDs containing the subjects such as Computer Fundamental knowledge, Mathematics practices, English Speaking Skills, Environment studies, Invention and Discoveries and also some pre-primary study materials have been distributed for imparting knowledge to the students of Madrassas through interactive videos. This will uplift the overall standards of education of the students. A total of 113 children, Maulvis and villagers were present during the event.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sarpanch of Kalakot village & Maulvi of Madrassa, Kalakot, expressed their gratitude towards the Army for taking care of the people of the remote areas who are in dire need of assistance in various aspects of life.
