Poonch,July 10 :- Poonch Police on Wednesday arrested a sumo driver and seized the vehicle,Few days back a picture was posted on social media in which driver of the sumo allowed the passengers to sit on roof top and hanging behind the vehicle while playing from Sathra to Galinag putting human lives at risk.
Taking the cognisance SHO police station Mandi Inspector Ravinder Rakwal arrested the driver namely Tariq Hussain S/O Muneer Hussain R/0 Galinag Mandi along with vehicle bearing registration no.JK 12 6883. A case Fir no.44/2019 u/s 336 registered in police station Mandi against the driver of a Tata Sumo.
Poonch police requested the drivers to refrain from such activities in future otherwise strict action will be taken against them as per the provision of law.
