Immediate release of wages against rural electrification in Kalakote: Ashok Sharma

Jammu, July, 10 GNS:- Immediate release of the wages with interest against the work done while doing rural electrification by over 500 labours has been demanded by Mr. Ashok Kumar Sharma, National Coordinator AICC Vichar Vibhag and former legislator while expressing concern over exerted and double billing of electric charges by power development department in Kalakote Assembly Segment.

Earlier a delegation lead by Mr. Sharma comprising of Darwari Lal, Councillor, Adv. Junaid Hussain and Nakul Sharma met Commissioner Secretary Power Development Department in civil sectt. Srinagar who asked the Chief Engineer Jammu to hold inquiry and report back.

A 25 member delegation under the leadership of former legislator met Sh. Sudhir Gupta, Chief Engineer, E, M&RE Jammu in presence of Xen Executive Engineer PDD Rajouri Shri Munshi Khan and discussed the whole gambit of the problem, besides the immediate need of left over pench wards, morahs and houses including Kalayar during different electrification schemes. The delegation also requested and was agreed by the Chief Engineer to find out the possibility of his personal visit to remotest area of Kotchardwal or in the alternative he will send senior officers of the Department to access the ground realities.
The delegation requested augmentation an installation of new substations in malurian, kalayar gole and other places.

The delegation comprised of Vinod Sharma, Gen Sec. JKPCC, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Sarpanch Jungrial, Pritam Dass Sharma, Sarpanch Malurian, Manzoor Ahmed, Naib Sarpanch Jungrial, Arjun Sharma and Nakul Sharma, Secretaries, JKPYC, Sanjay Sandhu, Executive Member, JK PCVV, Prabh Dayal, Pench, Mohd. Sultan, Mohd. Shabir, Baldev Raj, Ashish Sharma and others.
