POONCH:- In a joint Naka was laid by District Police led by ASI Maqbool IC PP Behramgalla and Army 16RR for vehicular checking at PCP Poshana.During naka checking, one vehicle bearing reg.no PB13Z-8098 which was on its way from Kashmir towards Jammu was stopped.
On enquiry,Driver disclosed his name as Jaswant Singh S/O Balkar Singh R/O Kotlabet,Tehsil Samrala, District Ludhiana Punjab.During checking of the vehicle,18Kg Poppy straw was recovered.
In consequence,person was arrested and vehicle was seized.
In this connection case FIR No 157/2019 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act has been registered and investigation is taken up.
