International Human Rights Day Celebrated Nationwide Under Leadership of Advocate Zargar Patnavi; Volunteers Honoured for Exceptional Service

JAMMU DECM,10:-International Human Rights Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm across India on Tuesday under the theme “Our Everyday Essentials”. The nationwide programmes were organised by the National Human Rights Social Justice Council of India (Global) on the directions of Advocate Zargar Patnavi, Director General, NHRSJC India (Global).

A major event was held in Jammu, drawing hundreds of participants, including dignitaries, members, social activists and awardees.

Shri Manish Sharma, BJP All Morcha Incharge (J&K) and Former Vice Chairperson JAKFED, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Shri Anil Padha, Chairman, attended as the Guest of Honour. Several senior officials and special invitees also marked their presence.

During the ceremony, NHRSJC volunteers from different states were felicitated for their brave and selfless service during recent natural calamities in various parts of the country.

Addressing the gathering, Advocate Zargar Patnavi highlighted the importance of Human Rights Day and detailed the Council’s ongoing efforts to safeguard human rights and promote social justice across regions.

The Chief Guest and Guest of Honour praised Advocate Patnavi and the NHRSJC team for their dedicated humanitarian initiatives. Notable dignitaries present included National President Shehzadi Gill, All India Chief National General Secretary Parvez Malik, National Vice President Lalit Ghai, National General Secretary (Organisation) Rahul Gupta, All India Joint Secretary Vinod Malhotra, Senior Vice President Kamal Jeet Kour and others.

Human Rights Day programmes were conducted simultaneously in Jammu & Kashmir, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Hyderabad and several other states, concluding with a renewed commitment to protect and promote human rights across the nation.
