Mendhar Media XI Clinches Title at Mendhar Pro Cricket League 2025

MENDHAR DECM 05:-The vibrant atmosphere of Mendhar Fest 2025 has once again energised the border region, as the Bhimber Gali Brigade’s Mendhar Battalion, under Operation Sadbhavana, successfully hosted a grand sporting event at OP Hill Stadium. Reflecting the theme *“Building Strength, Building Character,”* the festival highlights the Indian Army’s ongoing efforts to promote youth development, unity and community engagement in border areas.

The opening ceremony witnessed the presence of the Commanding Officer of the Mendhar Battalion as the Chief Guest. He interacted warmly with the young players and delivered an inspiring message emphasising discipline, teamwork and resilience. He noted that sports not only boost confidence but also act as a powerful medium to strengthen peace and progress in sensitive border regions like Mendhar.
