Rajouri Police Recover 1.4 Kg Ganja Like Narcotic Substance; Vehicle Seized and Two Arrested

RAJOURI NOV, 05:-A police party of Police Station Rajouri, while on routine patrolling duty at Link Road Mehra Rajouri intercepted a scooty bearing registration number JK11C-4822 coming from Kotedhara towards Rajouri.

During checking two persons onboard were identified as Kundal Kumar Mandal S/O Vasu Dev Mandal R/O Bhimpur Supaul Bihar A/P Kheora Rajouri and Dashrath Kumar Sharma S/O Ram Saroop Sharma R/O Nagpiprai Supaul Bihar A/P Kheora Rajouri.*

During checking of the scooty a black polythene bag containing Ganja like narcotic substance weighing approx 1.4 kilograms was recovered from their Possession.

In this regard a case FIR No. 549/2025 under relevant sections of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rajouri. Both accused have been arrested and investigation is underway.

The forward and backward linkages of the accused are being investigated to trace their associates and identify the source and destination of the contraband.
