Touseef Khalid demanded upgradition of PHC Nali to CHC Nali Bunjwah , Urged upon Governor to fulfill long pending demand in larger interest of public

Bunjwah 27 Jun:-A renowned Socio-Political Activist and Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement Co-Ordinator for Inderwal Constituency , Touseef Khalid Sheikh had demanded upgradition of PHC Nali to CHC Nali Bunjwah .
In a press statement Touseef Khalid Sheikh said that Bunjwah is having more than 35000 population and only one Primary Health Center is functioning since from independence under violation of requirement norms and shortage of Specialists and Doctors. Touseef said that , in PHC Nali , “Patients, pregnant ladies and accidental cases are treated on dirty benches under open sky, made to sleep on soil and dirt in Bunjwah , as there is shortage of accommodation”.
He added that the land acquired for construction of New building is yet to demarcate by Revenue Department despite several years passed together and authorities failed in construction of new building . Adding that PHC Nali faces acute shortage of doctors and specialists as no gynaecologist is posted and pregnancy is caterd by male doctor.
Touseef Khalid urged upon Hon’ble Governor Satya Pal Malik and District Development Commissioner Kishtwar to personally intervene in this matter and upgrade PHC Nali to CHC Nali Bunjwah at an earliest in larger interest of public soas long pending demand can be fulfilled.
