Group of Rajouri farmers leave for Training-cum-Exposure Visit ; DC Abhishek Sharma flags off tour outside J&K

RAJOURI, OCT 27: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today flagged off a group of progressive farmers on a Training-cum-Exposure visit outside Jammu and Kashmir. The tour has been organized by the Department of Horticulture.

The exposure tour, scheduled from October 27 to November 1, 2025, aims to enhance the technical know-how and practical understanding of the participating farmers regarding modern horticultural practices, value addition, and post-harvest management techniques being adopted in other states.

The tour, consisting of 11 progressive farmers and two officials, is being conducted under the supervision of the Chief Horticulture Officer.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma emphasised the importance of such exposure visits in transforming the agricultural and horticultural landscape of the district.
