RAJOURI OCT, 24:-Residents of Gujjar Mandi locality in Rajouri have raised concern over a persistent water leakage from an MES pipeline that has led to massive water wastage, deterioration of the road surface, and inconvenience to commuters and pedestrians alike.
The leakage, continuing unchecked for several days, has eroded the bituminous layer of the road, creating slushy and hazardous conditions in the busy area.Upon receiving complaints, President of Beopar Mandal Rajouri, Rajesh Gupta (Bittu Shah), promptly intervened and took up the matter with the concerned authorities. He urged them to carry out immediate repair work to prevent further loss of potable water and protect the damaged infrastructure.
Following his intervention, officials assured that repair work would be initiated without delay to restore the water supply system and rehabilitate the affected road stretch.Local residents expressed gratitude to Rajesh Gupta for his swift response and proactive role in representing their concerns before the authorities. They emphasized that responsive leadership and timely coordination between citizens and officials are essential for maintaining civic amenities and ensuring public welfare.
