Honoured at SKICC Srinagar for exceptional contribution to education and innovative teaching methods

RAJOURI SEPTEMBER 08:-In a proud moment for Rajouri district and the education fraternity of Jammu & Kashmir, Dr Shafiq Ahmad and Madhu Sharma, two distinguished educators from Rajouri, have been conferred with the prestigious State Best Teacher Award 2025.

The award was presented during the grand Teachers’ Day celebrations at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC), Srinagar, where the Lieutenant Governor felicitated outstanding teachers for their exceptional contributions to education.

Both teachers were recognised for their innovative teaching practices, unwavering commitment to student development, and efforts to uplift educational standards. Their dedication and perseverance have made them role models for educators across the Union Territory.
