KOTRANKA GNS : 7 persons died and several other injured In a tragic road accident in Budhal area of Rajouri district. Accident happened when a tempo travel bearing under reg. No. JK02AU 8910 was on the way from Rajouri to Budhal chasana. Accident happened tempo travel got out of control from driver and skided off the road near kewal area of Budhal.
Local people of kewal rescued injured and help in retrieving dead bodies from the accident spot. All injured were shifted to sub district hospital kotranka and after giving first aid treatment to injured at CHC kotranka all injured were shifted to District hospital Rajouri.
One critically injured namely Mohd Farooq S/O Abdul Rashid succumed to his injuries on they way to District hospital, deceased are Kalwabnt Singh SO Sukhdev Singh RO Kangoota , Mohd Taj SO Mohd Hussain RO Mendher, Sunit Singh SO Chitar Singh RO Tuli, Abdul Rashid SO Mohd Iqbal RO Darhal. Injured who reffered to District hospital are Mohd Manzoor SO Mohd Din RO Budhal, Zahin Akhter DO Layaqit Ali RO Tuli, Mohd Azam SO Mohd Din RO Tuli, Mohd shakeel SO Mohd Iqbal age 18 yr admitted in PHC Budhal and one lady age approx 40 yrs name and address are not known yet. two other succumb to injuries at GMC Rajouri are Kalish Devi R/O Tuli Chassana ,Mohd Manzoor R/O RajNagar upper.
When contacted with SHO Budhal he told GNS that FIR has been registered in this regard.
