Faheem Reshi Appeals to LG Manoj Sinha to Address Power Cut Issues

SRINAGAR JULY 22:-Faheem Reshi, Chairman of the Greater Shahr-e-Khaas Leadership, has issued a formal appeal to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene and resolve the ongoing power cut problems affecting the residents of the region. The community has been facing frequent and prolonged electricity outages, causing significant disruption to daily life .

In his statement, Reshi questioned the current power supply schedule and expressed concern over the unmet promises made by the present government led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah regarding reliable electricity. “Why do our people continue to face power cuts despite assurances from the government? The residents of Shahr-e-Khaas deserve a stable power supply without constant interruptions,” said Reshi.

The Greater Shahr-e-Khaas Leadership emphasizes that uninterrupted electricity is critical for the socio-economic development of the region. The leadership urges the administration to take immediate steps to improve the electricity infrastructure and ensure consistent power availability.

“We call upon LG Manoj Sinha to personally oversee the resolution of this issue and work closely with the relevant departments to restore normalcy. It is vital for the progress and well-being of Shahr-e-Khaas that the promises made to the people are fulfilled without further delay,” Reshi added.
