SRINAGAR JULY 21:-A devastating fire broke out this evening in the Aramwari Zero Bridge area of Rajbagh, Srinagar, causing severe damage to several residential houses. Naima Sara, PDP Women’s Wing District President Srinagar, has called on the local administration to provide urgent compensation and rehabilitation to the affected families.

The fire reportedly started at the residence of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, son of the late Habibullah Dar, and quickly spread to nearby homes. Locals have raised concerns about delays in the arrival of fire tenders, which may have contributed to the rapid spread of the flames. Fire and Emergency Services teams are actively working to control the blaze and prevent further destruction.

Expressing deep sympathy for the victims, Naima Sara stated, “The losses suffered by the families in Rajbagh are heartbreaking. It is imperative that the administration acts swiftly to provide financial aid, temporary shelter, and all necessary support to help these families rebuild their lives.” She has appealed directly to the Honorable Chief Minister of the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and the Lieutenant Governor’s administration to ensure immediate relief measures are put in place.

The PDP Women’s Wing District Srinagar stands in solidarity with all those affected and will continue to advocate for their rights and welfare during this difficult time.
