SRINAGAR JUNE 20:-Advocate Saika Rashid has urged the Lieutenant Governor (LG) Manoj Sinha and CM Omar Abdullah to ensure proper arrangements are made for the upcoming Muharram month, emphasizing the importance of safety, security, and smooth conduct of religious events.

Muharram, a significant month for the Muslim community, involves various religious observances and gatherings. Advocate Saika Rashid highlighted the need for comprehensive planning by the LG Manoj Sinha and CM Omar Abdullah to facilitate peaceful commemorations and manage large crowds effectively. “It is crucial that the administration takes timely steps to provide adequate security and logistical support to uphold the sanctity of Muharram and protect the devotees,” she said.
