Farooq Inqlabi Demands FIR Against GREF Officers Over Badhora Bridge Collapse

REASI MAR 11:-Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi, Senior PDP Leader, expressed his deep concern over the tragic collapse of the bridge at Badhora in Mahore Sub Division, of Reasi District which was constructed just last year by BRO 110 RCC GREF. He termed the incident as “extremely unfortunate” and called for immediate accountability. Inqlabi strongly urged the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Jammu to register an FIR against all the supervising officers of GREF who were deputed to oversee the construction of this bridge.

He stated, “This collapse is not just a failure of infrastructure but a direct reflection of the negligence and incompetence of those entrusted with its supervision. Such incidents are a clear indication that proper protocols and quality checks were not followed during the construction. It is high time that those responsible are held accountable.”

Inqlabi further emphasized that the people of Mahore Sub Division deserve better than substandard infrastructure and called for thorough investigations to ensure that such tragedies do not occur in the future. “The safety of our citizens is paramount, and anyone found guilty should be brought to justice,” he concluded.
